Acoustic Pianos — New and Carefully Selected Used
At MestresDaMúsica you will find a carefully curated selection of acoustic pianos for different levels and goals: from those looking for their first “serious” piano for study, to musicians and families who want an instrument with presence, dynamics and long-term value. We work with new options and also with used pianos (when available), for those who want a more accessible solution without giving up quality.

An acoustic piano is not just an instrument — it is an investment in sound, touch and inspiration. That is why we help you choose the right model based on your space, the player’s level, the type of repertoire and your budget.
C. Bechstein Representatives — German sound with a unique identity
We are official representatives of the C. Bechstein group brands, with a focus on C. Bechstein and W. Hoffmann. For those used to the more common “Japanese sound” (such as Yamaha or Kawai), the German sound is often a real discovery: a tone with more colour, density and harmonic richness, with a distinctive signature in the way the piano projects and “sings”.
What type of piano are you looking for?
- Upright pianos: ideal for homes, schools and practice rooms, with an excellent balance between size, projection and control.
- Grand and baby grand pianos: for those looking for greater projection, harmonic richness and a wider dynamic response.
- New pianos: for those who want an instrument with manufacturer warranty and the full new-piano experience.
- Used pianos: a smart alternative for those who want to step up with better value for money (subject to availability).
New vs Used: how to choose
If you want maximum predictability and a “zero-mile” instrument, a new piano is the natural choice. If your goal is to get more piano for the same budget, a well-selected used piano can be an excellent opportunity — especially when it has been checked and prepared to play with stability.
If you have questions, talk to us: we will help you compare options and choose the piano that best fits your needs.
Delivery, placement and first tuning
Transport and installation are an essential part of buying a piano. Whenever needed, we help plan delivery and placement on site, including situations with more demanding access (stairs, narrow corridors, etc.).
After transport, it is normal for the piano to need time to settle. That is why we always recommend a tuning after delivery to ensure the best playing and sound experience.
Need help choosing?
If you tell us your level, available space and budget, we can quickly guide you to the best options. We can also help schedule a viewing/try-out (when applicable) and answer any questions about maintenance, humidity and essential care.
Tip: if you arrived here through an ad, it is worth scrolling through the full list — there may be opportunities in used pianos at more accessible prices, depending on stock availability.
