Marantz MCR 60n DAB – All-in-One Hi-Fi System with HEOS, CD, HDMI eARC and MM Phono

The Marantz MCR 60n DAB is a new-generation all-in-one Hi-Fi system combining amplification, CD playback, network streaming, DAB/DAB+/FM radio and extensive digital and analogue connectivity within an elegant compact chassis.

With 2 × 65 W into 4 ohms, built-in HEOS, HDMI eARC, an MM phono input, Hi-Res audio support up to 32-bit/384 kHz and the option to upgrade to Dirac Live, the MCR 60n DAB is designed to bring virtually every source required by a modern Hi-Fi system into a single component.

2 × 65 W of Power

The MCR 60n DAB delivers 65 W + 65 W into 4 ohms in stereo operation, providing ample power for a wide range of suitable bookshelf and floorstanding loudspeakers.

The system can also operate in a four-channel configuration, delivering 4 × 33 W into 4 ohms and providing additional flexibility for different loudspeaker arrangements.

Speaker A/B with Independent Volume Control

Speaker A and Speaker B terminals allow two pairs of loudspeakers to be connected, with independent volume control available.

This configuration makes it possible to use the MCR 60n DAB to drive a second zone or explore different loudspeaker configurations from the same system.

Bi-Amping and Parallel BTL

In addition to conventional stereo operation, the MCR 60n DAB supports bi-amping with compatible loudspeakers and Parallel BTL operation, providing additional flexibility from its amplification section.

Built-in CD Player

The integrated CD player lets you continue enjoying a physical music collection without adding a separate component.

It supports CD, CD-R and CD-RW, including playback of compatible MP3 and WMA files recorded to disc.

HEOS – Streaming and Multiroom

Built-in HEOS turns the MCR 60n DAB into a comprehensive network music system, providing access to online music services, Internet radio, music servers on the home network and other compatible HEOS devices.

HEOS also enables multiroom audio and convenient control through the HEOS app.

Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz and More

Through its network connectivity and HEOS platform, the MCR 60n DAB provides access to a wide range of streaming services including Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer and Amazon Music, amongst other compatible services.

Roon Ready

The Marantz MCR 60n DAB is Roon Ready, allowing direct integration into a Roon system over the network for an advanced music library management and playback experience.

Apple AirPlay 2

Apple AirPlay 2 support allows music to be streamed directly from an iPhone, iPad, Mac and other compatible Apple devices, including integration into an AirPlay 2 multiroom system.

HDMI eARC for Your TV

The HDMI eARC/ARC connection allows the MCR 60n DAB to become the audio system for a compatible television using a single HDMI cable.

Sound from films, television, streaming services and games can therefore be enjoyed through your Hi-Fi loudspeakers while maintaining simple integration with the home entertainment system.

MM Phono Input

A dedicated MM phono input allows a turntable fitted with a Moving Magnet cartridge to be connected directly, without requiring an external phono stage.

The MCR 60n DAB therefore brings together modern digital sources, streaming, CD and vinyl playback within a single component.

Hi-Res Audio up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD 11.2 MHz

Network and USB playback supports high-resolution audio up to 32-bit/384 kHz PCM.

Supported formats include FLAC, WAV and ALAC, together with DSD up to 11.2 MHz, making the MCR 60n DAB suitable for extensive Hi-Res music libraries.

Rear USB Input

The rear USB-A port allows music stored on compatible USB devices to be played directly, including high-resolution audio files.

Bluetooth with Headphone Transmission

Bluetooth connectivity allows wireless music playback from compatible smartphones, tablets and other devices.

The MCR 60n DAB can also transmit audio via Bluetooth to compatible headphones, providing additional flexibility for private listening.

DAB/DAB+ and FM Radio

The integrated tuner provides DAB, DAB+ and FM reception, giving access to both digital radio and conventional FM broadcasts.

Optical Digital Input

An optical digital input allows televisions and other compatible digital sources to be connected. The Auto Power On function can also switch the system on automatically when a signal is detected at the optical input.

Analogue Input and Pre-Out

The MCR 60n DAB includes an analogue line-level input and analogue output connectivity, providing additional flexibility when integrating other Hi-Fi sources and components.

The assignable Main Pre-Out / AUX connection further expands the possibilities for integration with external equipment.

Subwoofer Output

A dedicated Subwoofer Pre-Out makes it easy to add an active subwoofer, creating a 2.1-channel system with greater low-frequency extension and impact.

Optional Dirac Live Upgrade

The MCR 60n DAB is ready for an optional Dirac Live upgrade, allowing advanced room correction technology to be added to the system.

This provides the opportunity to optimise system performance according to the loudspeakers, their positioning and the acoustic characteristics of the listening room.

New-Generation Marantz Design

At just 280 mm wide, the MCR 60n DAB combines extensive functionality with Marantz's latest-generation design language.

The front panel incorporates a three-line OLED display and selectable status illumination, while Black and Champagne Gold finishes allow the system to integrate elegantly into a wide variety of interiors.
