The RB-1552 MKII is a Class AB stereo power stage of 120 watts per channel. It has been designed to be powerful and robust, while also being able to extract the most delicate subtlety from even the most complex musical message.

Rotel’s fanatical attention to detail in engineering means that the whole always exceeds the sum of the parts, something we have agreed to call the Equilibrium Divine Concept. Every aspect of the design of our products –from the selection of an oversized power supply equipped with a highly efficient and low magnetic loss toroidal transformer to the use of multiple bipolar transistors with high current delivery capability- is carefully considered with a view to maximizing the sound performances. The topology of the circuits is planned, implemented, evaluated and adjusted to obtain optimal results. The RB-1552 MKII includes independent rectification and decoupling stages for the left and right channels, being in essence a dual monophonic design. Another demonstration of the level of demandingness in the design specifications is found in the selection of “thin foil” capacitors of the highest quality, which provide a generous energy reserve for the most extreme dynamic passages and at the same time are able to recharge quickly thanks to the unique nature of their design. In terms of input options, balanced jacks with XLR connectors and unbalanced jacks with RCA connectors are available.
