As usual with Rotel amplifiers, the RA-1572MKII uses a large toroidal transformer of its own manufacture. The shape of the toroidal transformer helps prevent stray radiation patterns from corrupting audio signals as they pass through adjacent circuits.  The transformer powers a bank of 4 high-efficiency, low-ESR (equivalent series resistance) cut-foil storage capacitors for deep, controlled bass energy.

The RA-1572MKII supports digital sources using a Texas Instruments 32-bit/384kHz CDA with critically tuned output filter circuitry that reproduces even the most imperceptible details. The preamplifier circuitry and gain stages of the linear amplifier have been custom designed to ensure natural detail, agility and immersive studio sound. Connection to your favorite sources is ensured by analog inputs, digital inputs, MQA-compatible computer USB port, aptX™ wireless Bluetooth streaming and AAC, balanced XLR and moving magnet Phono preamp.
