Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista PAM - Overview

Based on the Nu-Vista 800 circuit, the Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista PAM is a fully balanced power amplifier that uses 6S51N nuvistors in a Class A amplifier buffer. This design offers a high-precision and high-quality sound experience.

Technical Construction of the Nu-Vista PAM

The Nu-Vista PAM features a balanced circuit and a high-power, low-distortion "bridged" output configuration. The power stages use 2x5 pairs of high-power output devices, ensuring reliable and stable operation. Based on the Titan 1000W stage, the amplifier includes dedicated capacitors for each output device, reducing output impedance and improving dynamics.

Nu-Vista PAM Power Supply

The Nu-Vista PAM comes with a dedicated external power supply designed to minimize noise. The main unit does not have AC power, reducing electrical network artifacts. The power supply includes status LEDs and a rear mechanical switch for complete electrical isolation.

Heroic Build Quality

The construction of the Nu-Vista PAM follows Musical Fidelity's tradition: robust and rigid. The aluminum chassis acts as a Faraday cage, protecting against external and internal electromagnetic interference, ensuring high immunity to vibrations and noise.
