The new Musical Fidelity M6x 250.4/2 offers a gold-plated RCA input and a balanced XLR input per channel. If your preamplifier has XLR outputs, we always recommend using the balanced connection. This type of signal transmission results in greater dynamics, less noise, and a better signal-to-noise ratio. If you need the same signal across multiple inputs, for example, for bi-amplification, you can use the gold-plated RCA output and distribute the signal to the next input. The speaker output terminals accept 4mm banana connectors, spade connectors, or bare wire. The trigger input/output allows the device to be turned on/off via other components.
