Description

The SUB80P is an active subwoofer that is part of the range of audiovisual components for high-end residential applications from the legendary Californian firm JBL. Elegantly presented, its compact design does not prevent it from providing generous bass response, while offering the installation flexibility inherent to the absence of cables. The SUB80P uses a 203 mm (8") bottom-firing woofer mounted in an airtight enclosure and includes practical connectivity that facilitates its integration into stereophonic and multichannel music systems or Home Theater. Its internal amplifier configured in Class D delivers a continuous power of 200 W and dynamic power of 400 W, and can be connected to the system both by cable and wirelessly. On the rear panel of the JBL we find a control to adjust the level of volume switch, a crossover bypass switch, a phase switch and both line and LFE stereo jacks, while connection to the wireless transmitter is via a set of RCA connectors. The SUB80P comes complete with a beautiful gloss black finish, a power supply for the wireless transmitter and a 12V trigger signal cable.
