In line with a product signed by a brand with Pioneer's track record of sound excellence, the VSA-LX805 houses an elaborate power amplification stage with a new symmetrical circuit topology in Class AB developed by the veteran Japanese brand to authoritatively provide sound in large living rooms thanks to its output of 11x220 continuous watts over 6 ohms. The audio part is completed with the use of custom-made audiophile-grade components, one set of balanced inputs and one set of balanced outputs, the exciting Auto Phase Control Plus and Advanced Sound Retriever functions, the effective MCACC Pro acoustic calibration and correction scheme and a tune-up in Osaka by a dedicated engineering team. As far as video circuitry is concerned, it combines top-level 8K and HDR compatibility with cutting-edge signal scaling and a generous supply of HDMI sockets.
