The UHD5000 is the first equipped with a new generation of the ESS 32-nit Hyperstream ESS9068 DAC decoder chip. In addition to supporting DSD512 and PCM768@32-bit decoding. It also supports hardware decoding of the 8x expanded three-layer MQA encoding format, making it the only media player in the industry to support hardware MQA decoding.
