Optoma UHZ36USTe – 4K UHD Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector

The Optoma UHZ36USTe is a 4K UHD ultra short throw laser projector designed to create large images while positioned very close to the projection surface. With 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), 3,500 lumens of brightness and DLP technology, it delivers detailed, sharp images with excellent contrast.

Its ultra short throw optics, with a throw ratio of just 0.25:1, allow large images to be projected from a very short distance. This makes the UHZ36USTe particularly suitable for installations where minimising shadows, reflections and the visual presence of the projector is important.

Long-life laser light source

Laser technology provides consistent image performance and a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, significantly reducing maintenance requirements compared with traditional lamp-based projectors.

With a typical operating noise level of just 26 dB, the Optoma UHZ36USTe also provides quiet operation, making it suitable for both home and professional environments.

4K UHD image quality

The native 3840 x 2160 UHD resolution enables 4K content to be reproduced with excellent definition and a high level of detail. DLP technology ensures a precise and consistent image, suitable for movies, multimedia content, presentations and other large-format applications.

The projector offers a 2,500,000:1 contrast ratio and supports 3D content, providing excellent versatility for a wide range of applications.

Large images from a very short distance

Thanks to its ultra short throw optics, the UHZ36USTe can produce a large image without requiring installation at the back of the room. Optoma recommends image sizes between 85 and 120 inches for data and text content, while larger image sizes can be achieved for video projection.

This makes it particularly suitable for home cinema rooms, meeting rooms, educational environments, retail spaces, showrooms and other installations where the available distance between the projector and projection surface is limited.

Connectivity

The Optoma UHZ36USTe features 3 HDMI 2.0 inputs, USB connectivity, a 3.5 mm audio output, digital S/PDIF output and RJ45 network connectivity, allowing easy integration with a wide range of video sources and audio systems.

It also incorporates a 2 x 10 W speaker system, allowing standalone operation when an external audio system is not available.
