The mesmerizing beauty of D-ILA images are the result of more than 25 years of JVC engineering and technology. The exceptional brightness of 3,300 lumens and a native contrast ratio of 150,000:1 are achieved thanks to the native Gen3 D-ILA 4K technology combined with the BLU-Esent laser. The projector also features embedded HDR metadata to deliver the ultimate HDR experience. Also equipped with the new Gen2 8K/e-shiftX upscaling engineering and HQ lens system, achieving perfect home theater projection pixel by pixel, in addition to offering great detail, dimensionality and contrast.
The third generation of 0.69-inch 4K D-ILA devices offer a native contrast ratio of 150,000:1. Additionally, improvements in the manufacturing process mean improved screen uniformity for even more perfect image quality.
Whether with 4K or 8K source, the cutting-edge Gen2 8K/e-shiftX uses a 240Hz driver with 4-way, multi-axis shift to deliver four impacts on the screen delivering perfect 8K resolution, pixel by pixel.
Full 8K input is available on the HDMI 48Gbps 8K/60p input with HDCP 2.3. Additionally, the 4K120p input used for low latency mode is perfect for high refresh rate gaming platforms.
The original JVC BLU-Escent Laser light has been optimized to achieve an exceptional peak brightness of 3,300 lumens and a longevity of 20,000 hours. Housed in a compact footprint, laser light engineering delivers high output, higher efficiency and quieter operation, making it an excellent solution for demanding home theater installations.
The 100mm HQ lens system with 18 elements, 16 groups of all-glass lenses and five ED projectors manages to project a high-resolution image in each corner of the screen, guaranteeing a wide shift range of 100% vertical and 43% horizontal to allow faithful reproduction of 8K images without distortion, regardless of the location where it is installed.
The second generation of the HDR Frame Adapt function instantly analyzes the different brightness points of each scene frame by frame for HDR10 content and achieves real-time tonal mapping that improves brightness, color and details. Once combined with each of the following modes including the new Deep Black feature, the projector detects and analyzes the HDR source data to project the best that each has to offer:
