At the heart of the RC-1590MKII we first find a power supply that includes two toroidal transformers manufactured by Rotel in its own facilities. These transformers are physically and electrically isolated to provide dedicated supply voltages to all critical analog and digital circuits, using low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) thin film capacitors to eliminate unwanted distortion and dramatically minimize background noise.

The inputs corresponding to the digital sources are processed with the help of an audiophile-grade Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) with 32-bit/384 kHz technology signed by Texas Instruments and custom-developed external output filtering circuits tuned by ear that restore even the finest details with exceptional clarity and exact positioning of voices and instruments. 

The signal paths for analog sources include DIRECT-PATH routing modes that eliminate unnecessary circuitry to maintain signal integrity and further reduce unwanted noise and distortion to bring you even closer and immerse you in your favorite music. 

The RC-1590MKII incorporates an extensive repertoire of inputs to guarantee connection to all types of audio sources, starting with a Phono for Moving Magnet (MM) Capsules intended for vinyl record lovers and continuing with Balanced and Unbalanced Analog Line inputs, Digital, high-quality aptX and AAC Wireless Connectivity via Bluetooth and a compatible PC-USB (32-bit/384 kHz). with MQA files, to which is added the Rooin Tested approval.

The presence of pre-amplified outputs with RCA and XLR connectors, as well as a subwoofer output, allows increased installation flexibility (bi-amplification included). RS232 and Ethernet ports facilitate integration into home automation systems and software updates.
