The BL8 is a semi-cardioid pressure zone microphone, using the same capsule as the famous sE8 small diaphragm condenser. Its real hand-crafted condenser capsule uses an ultra-thin, three-micron-thick gold-sputtered diaphragm for superior transient response. The BL8 is designed to reproduce low frequencies with astonishing accuracy, often eliminating the need for an additional outside kick microphone. It is also compatible with The KellyShu Flatz Isolation System suspension system, and therefore ideal for touring.
