SURFACE CONDENSER MICROPHONE The M3 (available in two colors, white and gray) is an innovative, tri-element pendant microphone system designed for applications where aesthetics, sound quality, ambient noise isolation and ease of installation are critical. The M3W is an ideal audio capture solution for video conferencing rooms, education companies with large auditoriums or classes that are recorded or taught remotely, as well as courts or surgical operating rooms. The M3 incorporates three phase-coherent hypercardioid capsules and with its tailored frequency response optimized for speech intelligibility which is achieved by minimizing frequencies caused by noise, vibration, paperwork, key presses, fans and air conditioning/heating. Low noise preamplifier for maximum possible noise-free signal and studio quality sound. Microphone cable with high quality silicone sleeve isolates the balanced signal and is very stylish. The electronics are hidden above the ceiling in a metal plenum box and connections are made through an RJ45 connector embedded within a patented brass housing for an airtight seal. The M3 can be connected to the input of a mixing console or DSP via a separate cable (provided). The connection cable consists of a female RJ45 connector that terminates in any of the three XLR or specific block type connectors. Shielded CAT7 cables of different optional sizes. Installation of the M3 requires drilling a single 5/8-inch hole in the ceiling, with no additional tools required. Mounting the M3 is easy with the cable hanging up to four feet from the ceiling surface and without the need to remove ceiling tiles. It incorporates seismic safety wire.
