Housed in a precision-machined aluminum body, the 33mm fixed-load capsule features a gold diaphragm for a wide, natural frequency response. With its well-performing cardioid polar pattern, the A133 faithfully captures the details of any performance while doing a good job of rejecting room noise and other unwanted off-axis sounds. A double-weave steel mesh grille and ultra-thin acoustic foam offer exceptional pop resistance which is perfect for podcasts and high-quality vocal recording. Behind the grille, the open-air design of the capsule mounting system allows the A133 to deliver transparent, uncolored sound. Patented impedance control between the capsule and circuitry ensures consistent, reliable performance in a wide range of environments. A unique and highly effective internal anti-vibration mount isolates the capsule from mechanical vibrations and tactile noise, eliminating the need for an external anti-vibration mount which is bulky and represents an additional cost. The switchable bass rolloff and 10 dB pad ensure you're ready for any recording or live performance situation. The A133 offers studio performance in a chassis fit for the rough treatment of the road, the A133 also comes with its protective zippered case.
Requires 48-52 V phantom power. For best results, the A133 should be used with a high-quality microphone preamplifier and microphone cable.
