The 6000CDT is a dedicated CD transport that incorporates the same slot loading mechanism as the 8300CD.
Extremely robust and reliable, uses a read-ahead digital buffer to reduce disc read errors, capable of playing scratched and damaged CDs that are unreadable by mechanisms

Affordable versatility
The digital clock is controlled by a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator that ensures that the coaxial and optical digital output has minimal jitter (temporal errors, which detract from natural sound).
In addition, the coaxial output is fed from a differential line driver to ensure that a flawless digital signal reaches the DAC - naturally, at DAC section on the 6000A amplifier is a perfect match.
Mounting your own transport in an electromagnetically shielded enclosure and including a dedicated power supply, extracting the digital signal from any CD is as accurate as possible.
