The Music Hall MMF-11.3 turntable is an audiophile 2-speed, mail-drive turntable that features key specifications from its predecessor, the MMF-11.1. The unique quad plinth design, created by Music Hall, has been enhanced with new TPE isolators to take vibration isolation even further. The motor, with its flywheel assembly, is now completely independent, allowing the MMF-11.3 to be even quieter in terms of background noise than its acclaimed predecessor.

Music Hall's unique technology

The distinctive design of the MMF-11.3 isolates the critical components necessary for acoustic reproduction, each on its own plinth with the motor and flywheel assembly now completely independent. The arm is mounted on the upper plinth and the inverted ceramic bearing on the second, allowing the 1 ½" acrylic platter to rotate freely in its semi-sunken position. Vibration isolation technology has been further perfected in the MMF-11.3. Moving the bearing to the second plinth improves cartridge traction and reduces background noise significantly. The adjustable magnetic levitation feet and all wiring are located on the plinth In the MMF-11.1, the speed control microprocessor, motors and flywheel mechanism were also mounted on it. However, in the new MMF-11.3 these parts are in a completely independent unit. This prevents any unwanted vibration from passing on to the rest of the turntable components, making the mmf-11.3 sound better than ever before.

The material used for the hemispheres that separate each of the four plinths and offer additional vibration isolation has been improved. The TPE material is now custom designed for Music Hall, being able to better insulate the plinths thanks to its higher efficiency. The function of the lower plinth is a resonance well for the entire turntable. Two motors and a flywheel are used to improve torque and speed stability. The MMF-11.3 is available in High-Gloss Piano Black finish and the new Premium Walnut finish. A large acrylic dust cover is included as standard.
