Audiolab D7 D/A DAC with Bluetooth and headphone amplifier

The Audiolab D7 is a compact D/A DAC designed to upgrade digital sources in a hi-fi system, staying true to Audiolab’s core values: audiophile performance, solid build and outstanding value. Born from the M-DAC legacy and Audiolab’s modern DAC-equipped electronics, the D7 is a versatile digital hub for high-resolution music.

At its core sits the ESS9038Q2M chipset for precise, detailed conversion. Connectivity is extensive, with four S/PDIF inputs (two coaxial + two optical), a USB type-B input for PC/Mac/smartphone/tablet, and a USB HDD input for playback from external drives. Outputs include both RCA and fully balanced XLR, making it easy to integrate into a wide range of stereo systems.

For everyday convenience, the D7 also includes Bluetooth 5.1 with support for codecs such as aptX HD, plus a high-power headphone amplifier using current-feedback circuitry for clarity and drive across many headphone types. Format support includes DSD up to DSD512 and PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz via USB, PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz via S/PDIF, and it is a full MQA decoder.
