Design combining superior operation and beauty. And featuring new Twisted Flare Port technology for greater clarity and deeper bass. A subwoofer that will match most speakers and environments.
The new Twisted Flare Port takes advantage of extensive subwoofer development experience. takes advantage of extensive subwoofer development experience. The duct's slightly twisted spiral shape diffuses the air vortex generated around the edge of the duct, creating a smooth airflow. This considerably reduces noise not present in the original signal and provides clear, accurate low-frequency reproduction. From special effects in movies to the lively atmosphere of a boulevard, you'll hear the bass clearly, deeply and realistically.
The amplifier offers 250W high efficiency power, minimizing energy consumption and heat production. There is no need for an output filter coil, resulting in low noise and distortion. High-speed transient response is also excellent. Dual feedback circuitry reduces distortion by applying dual feedback, resulting in greater sonic clarity.
Developed by Yamaha, Advanced YST II (Yamaha Active Servo Technology II) combines the principles of negative impedance and constant current to drive the speaker cone with finer control than the previous version. Using the Advanced Negative Impedance Converter (ANIC), optimizes impedance dynamics to maintain linearity. This means more stable bass frequency responses, not to mention audio superiority.
The large 25 cm (10”) woofer is arranged in a front-firing configuration. The material used in the speaker coil uses a wire with a square surface that can be wound more densely to obtain greater flow providing greater movement force allowing the reproduction of fairer and deeper bass.
In addition to the beautifully rounded shape of the front surface, the panels on both sides create an accent, clean appearance, this subwoofer allows you to imagine the strength of the sound and combines with a wide variety of speaker systems. Numerous color variations are available, so you can select the one that matches your interior.
The on/off and volume buttons, the most frequently used functions, are arranged on the front surface of the unit for easy access. They are inclined at 45°, making them easier to use. An LED indicator above the power button indicates whether it is on or off and in dark environments, it helps you locate the position of the button.
