A compact and stylish all-in-one stereo audio system with network connectivity designed by JBL to adapt to the contemporary lifestyle, which integrates a pair of speakers from the legendary American firm in a single, beautifully curved enclosure, in order to offer versatility and musicality at the highest level without formal complications. Thus, behind the iconic Quadrex grill of the Californian brand we find a pair of “midwoofers” with a 100 mm white pulp cone with rear bass-reflex loading. These drivers are flanked by two 20mm aluminum dome tweeters with waveguides, located at the left and right edges of the front panel to create a wide, uniform sound field. The eminently practical philosophy that governs this distinguished JBL proposal does not prevent it from exhibiting generous connectivity in line with new technological trends. All audio signals are routed to sophisticated DSP circuitry where they are carefully optimized and then sent to the JBL speakers appropriately magnified by a four-channel Class D amplifier, delivering a total continuous power of 200 watts. Designed and developed at the prestigious Harman Center of Acoustics Excellence in Northridge, California, the L42ms leverages JBL's more than 75 years of experience designing loudspeakers, speakers and electronics to deliver exceptional sound and comfort.
