RUBICON LCR has been awarded the EISA 2014-2015 award for the best On-Wall speaker. Located on the wall and with a rotating tweeter, it is a unique speaker in its class that delivers all the dynamism of a floor or bookshelf speaker and unrivaled bass.

Integrated into the new RUBICON range, this full-range wall-mounted speaker incorporates a modified version of the hybrid high-frequency module seen for the first time in the EPICON series of the same brand. This module is made up of a 29 mm diameter soft dome tweeter combined with a 15x45 mm and 1 mm thick ribbon tweeter, which can be rotated to disperse the sound throughout the room if the speaker is placed horizontally, thus avoiding the traditional physical limitation of the optimal listening point. A 16.5 cm wood fiber cone is responsible for reproducing the bass while two hidden bass-reflex ports located in the rear area of ​​​​the cabinet enhance the lower octaves of the spectrum.

A slim and flexible speaker ever (it can also be mounted on a stand or shelf), the RUBICON LCR is a captivating solution for both stereophonic and multichannel sound.

The cone used in the RUBICON series is based on the heritage of EPICON series technologies, and has a light, rigid and uneven structure. This reduces the complexity of the central part of the motor, ensures even piston-like movements, greatly reduces the possibility of surface resonance and creates very low distortion within the RUBICON series. The soft, low-loss rubber exterior is designed and custom-made specifically for the RUBICON series, and all components are situated in an aluminum chassis designed for maximum airflow around the cone and magnet system. 

In the RUBICON series, DALI makes use of both the soft dome tweeter working alone, and the hybrid tweeter configuration. An incredible representation of high frequencies. The cone used in the RUBICON series is designed to be very light and agile in order to achieve wider bandwidth. This cone is placed inside a powerful ferrite magnet that maintains strict control over its movements. The ribbon tweeter controls the wide dispersion and in combination with the soft dome, the tweeter module starts working as low as 2.5 KHz. This extreme bandwidth combined with ultra-wide dispersion is an important part of the DALI sound philosophy.

The RUBICON's elegant exterior serves as a base for low-loss drivers. In all boxes, the midrange and bass drivers are separated into their own chambers. Turbulence is minimized through a bass reflex port, which is placed directly behind each woofer, also optimizing synchronization between the woofer and bass port.
