Dual 7-inch woofers, each with separate 500W class D amplifiers, offer perfect reproduction of frequencies down to 32 Hz. The ADAM DCH Audio, a 4-inch hybrid dome-cone midrange driver, is powered by a 300W Class D amplifier and handles audio above 250Hz and below 3kHz, its cutting-edge hybrid design delivers the sonic benefits of both a cone and a soft dome in a single, one-piece unit. Frequencies above 3kHz are directed to the innovative combination of the S-ART treble driver (each handcrafted in ADAM Audio's Berlin factory), the new precision HPS waveguide and a 50W class A/B amplifier. The result of all this innovation is a beautifully transparent three-dimensional soundscape, with an extensive sweet spot. The custom S-series DSP optimizes cutoff frequencies to create linear responses for the entire range of frequencies, and allows user equalization and adjustment and control functions of the signal emitted in the control room. A unique feature of the S3H's DSP options is a built-in EQ preset that emulates the response of ADAM Audio's legendary S3A monitor. The DSP also manages treble protection based on limiters, AES3 digital inputs and, over time, facilitates various expansion options. Software upgrades can be easily performed via the associated USB port, which also allows users to connect computers and control the speakers' DSP functions via front-end software.
