ACTIVE STUDIO MONITOR The D3V is a fully active desktop monitoring system, ideal for composers, producers and music lovers looking to enjoy ADAM Audio sound quality in a comfortable and accessible way.

Available in black or white, these monitors feature the iconic gold ribbon tweeter, maintaining ADAM Audio's German industrial design tradition.


Each active monitor includes 3.5' aluminum woofers and a ferrite magnet system powered by 80W amplifiers. These woofers are complemented by 3.5' double-sided passive radiators, allowing the D3V reach frequencies as low as 45 Hz.


With 25 years of experience in ribbon tweeter technology, ADAM Audio has developed the compact 1.5' D-ART ('Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter'), which provides accurate and fatigue-free reproduction of high frequencies, a hallmark of its monitoring systems.


D3V incorporates a USB-C input, allowing it to Act as a digital output device when connected to a computer, eliminating the need for an additional audio interface. In addition, it offers plug-and-play compatibility with mobile devices, guaranteeing high-quality audio without compression or conversion. It also includes balanced ¼' TRS inputs for traditional analog audio applications. The D3V's left speaker features switches that allow you to adjust the acoustics based on the placement of the monitors, and its front panel integrates a headphone output and a volume knob that also controls audio input selection, muting, and other functions. The system includes removable stands tilted 15° toward the listener, and both monitors have a cut-out standard 3/8' thread for mounting on microphone stands.



Woofers and Passive Radiators:


The D3V system uses 3.5' aluminum woofers optimized with ADAM Audio's Klippel technology, which minimizes distortions and ensures linear performance even at high volumes. Dual passive radiators boost low-frequency response and increase overall system SPL, interacting with the main woofers to enhance bass performance.



D-ART Tweeter
:

Developed after 25 years of research, the D-ART 1.5' desktop tweeter delivers accurate high-frequency reproduction. Each unit is driven by a 40W amplifier, and the system includes a high-precision DSP-managed crossover.



Direct USB-C Input:


The plug-and-play USB-C input makes the D3V ADAM Audio's most versatile monitoring system, allowing direct digital connection to computers, mobile phones and tablets without the need for an additional audio interface, making it easy to playback audio without loss of quality.


DSP Acoustics and Analog Inputs Settings:


The rear panel of the D3V includes switches to adjust the acoustics of the room, with specific modes for speaker placement, desk size and acoustic treatment of the environment. In addition, it offers balanced analog inputs for traditional connections to audio equipment.
