The goal of any high-quality cable is to reproduce music exactly as it was originally recorded, accurately capturing even the finest musical nuances. The phono cable VIABLUE™ NF-S5 transmits all frequency ranges with complete authenticity and precision. By using a combination of various, perfectly balanced, materials, the NF-S5 delivers a transparent sound image, characterized by a clean bass and exceptional detail in the high-frequency range.

CHARACTER

The VIABLUE™ NF-S5 tonearm cable was specifically designed with versatile and flexible coupling options, including various connections to turntables. It features a total of five internally silver-plated conductors with large cross-sections of 5 x 0.5 mm², making it a standout performer.

PROGRESS / DEVELOPMENT

The VIABLUE™ NF-S5 phono cable was explicitly tailored for connecting turntables. Generally, for the comparatively weak tonearm signals, optimal and 100% comprehensive shielding is both essential and imperative. The NF-S5 is therefore equipped with a dual-layer shielding, comprising both spiral and foil shields.

The silver-plated OFC (oxygen-free copper) internal conductors are individually insulated with polyethylene, a material with low electrostatic charge that positively enhances the sound profile in the high-frequency range. Five conductors arranged in a circular pattern around a centrally placed polypropylene filler make the cable geometry particularly effective. The result: low capacitance, which ensures the best possible signal transfer, especially for tonearms and record players.

For a maximum protection of the delicate and weak signal in tonearm cables, the shielding in VIABLUE™ tonearm cables always extends all the way into the connectors.

FLEXIBLE CONNECTIONS

The five internal conductors of the VIABLUE™ NF-S5 enable a variety of configuration and connection options, including DIN, DIN 90 plugs, RCA, and XLR connectors.

All VIABLUE™ connectors are developed in-house by VIABLUE™. The T8 phono and interconnect plugs feature a full-metal housing made of surface-refined aluminum, to ensure secure and highly precise connections.

HIGH-QUALITY ASSEMBLY, HANDMADE IN GERMANY

The production of the VIABLUE™ NF-S5 is completed with the addition of VIABLUE™ ferrite-core filters and splitters, both crafted from surface-refined aluminum, ensuring premium quality.

OFC means oxygen-free copper and is an electrolytically refined copper used for its high conductivity with a maximum level of oxygen of 0.001%.
