The X Series' improved speaker design features a new magnetic circuit that has been optimized to improve overall efficiency. Together with a new design of its voice coil and diaphragm, distortion is reduced to a minimum while its harmonic integrity is enhanced. As a result, the new Prestige Series is easier to move around portable devices and delivers the best possible audio quality.

Grado Labs has chosen a powder-coated aluminum casing for these headphones because they give them weight, and this results in smoother transitions from the lowest to the highest frequencies. You will also have the authentic style of the 60s, as the New York firm preserves the original design of its headphones that it began manufacturing at that time. This inimitable vintage aesthetic is completed with a top-large genuine leather headband resistant to hair products.

The cable has also been improved for the Prestige X Series. Now, it is covered in fabric, which gives it flexibility and greater durability. In addition, the SR325 has 8 copper conductors that offer greater signal purity.

Grado SR325X is the flagship of the range. For this reason, it has a headband made of authentic top-grain leather, resistant to both use and hair products (waxes, hair gels). Plus, its design has been optimized to be comfortable even during the longest listening sessions.
