Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC Xbox – Planar Magnetic Gaming with Active Noise Cancellation

The Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC Xbox combines Audeze's reference Planar Magnetic technology with an advanced active noise cancellation system providing up to 35 dB of noise reduction, ultra-low-latency wireless connectivity and dedicated compatibility with Xbox consoles.

Designed for gaming, music and entertainment, it uses large 90 mm Planar Magnetic drivers with Fluxor™, Fazor™, Uniforce™ and SLAM™ technologies to deliver high resolution, deep and controlled bass and highly accurate spatial reproduction.

The Xbox version also includes a Dolby Atmos licence for Xbox and Windows, allowing immersive spatial audio without the need to purchase a separate Dolby Access licence.

90 mm Planar Magnetic Drivers

At the heart of the Maxwell 2 ANC are large 90 mm Planar Magnetic drivers, designed to deliver the speed, resolution and control for which Audeze headphones are known.

The large transducer surface and extremely lightweight diaphragm allow subtle details, positional effects and large dynamic changes to be reproduced with excellent precision.

Frequency response extends from 10 Hz to 50 kHz, providing deep bass, detailed midrange and excellent high-frequency extension.

Fluxor™, Fazor™ and Uniforce™ Technologies

The Fluxor™ magnetic system concentrates the magnetic field across the diaphragm to provide high efficiency and control.

Fazor™ elements help manage sound-wave propagation, contributing to a more accurate spatial presentation, while Uniforce™ technology provides a more uniform distribution of force across the diaphragm.

Together, these technologies help reduce distortion and preserve fine detail even during complex passages.

SLAM™ Technology

SLAM™ – Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator technology manages the acoustic pressure between the driver and the ear, improving low-frequency behaviour and spatial presentation.

The result is deep, fast and well-defined bass while retaining the clarity and resolving ability associated with Audeze Planar Magnetic drivers.

Active Noise Cancellation up to 35 dB

The Maxwell 2 ANC features an advanced Active Noise Cancellation system capable of providing up to 35 dB of noise reduction.

ANC helps reduce surrounding noise, allowing greater focus while gaming, listening to music, watching films or communicating online.

Transparency Mode

When awareness of the surrounding environment is required, Transparency Mode allows external sounds to be heard without removing the headset.

Designed for Xbox

The Xbox version is designed for ultra-low-latency wireless use with Xbox Series X|S consoles, while also supporting an analogue 3.5 mm connection through compatible controllers.

Dolby Atmos Included

The Maxwell 2 ANC Xbox includes a Dolby Atmos licence for Xbox and Windows, activated through the Dolby Access application.

Dolby Atmos for Headphones creates an immersive three-dimensional spatial presentation, allowing the position and movement of sounds within the gaming environment to be perceived with greater precision.

In addition to increasing immersion in games, films and other compatible content, spatial audio can make it easier to identify the direction of footsteps, movement and other sound effects.

Game/Chat Mix

The Xbox version supports Game/Chat Mix, allowing the balance between game audio and voice communication to be adjusted directly.

On Xbox, this function integrates with the console's Party Chat system, allowing the relationship between game and chat audio to be quickly adjusted using the headset controls.

Ultra-Low-Latency Wireless

The wireless connection has been developed specifically for gaming applications where accurate synchronisation between picture and sound is essential.

The system supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz, combining high sound quality with ultra-low-latency transmission.

Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC

The Maxwell 2 ANC includes a detachable hypercardioid boom microphone designed to provide clear communication during gaming, streaming and calls.

FILTER™ AI Noise Removal helps reduce unwanted background sounds, keeping speech clear and intelligible.

When the boom microphone is removed, the integrated microphones allow the headset to continue being used for communication with a more discreet appearance.

Beamforming

The integrated microphones use beamforming technology to prioritise the user's voice while reducing the influence of sounds coming from other directions.
