The Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC PlayStation takes the Maxwell platform further with an advanced active noise cancellation system providing up to 35 dB of noise reduction, while retaining the large 90 mm Planar Magnetic drivers and high-resolution reproduction that distinguish Audeze in the gaming headset market.

Designed for gaming, music and entertainment, it combines Fluxor™, Fazor™, Uniforce™ and SLAM™ technologies with ultra-low-latency wireless transmission up to 24-bit/96 kHz, Bluetooth 5.3, a detachable microphone with AI-powered noise reduction and compatibility with Tempest 3D Audio on PlayStation 5.

90 mm Planar Magnetic Drivers

At the heart of the Maxwell 2 ANC are large 90 mm Planar Magnetic drivers. Their large surface area and extremely lightweight diaphragm allow them to respond rapidly to changes in the signal, reproducing subtle details, positional effects and large dynamic shifts with exceptional precision.

Frequency response extends from 10 Hz to 50 kHz, providing deep bass, detailed midrange and excellent high-frequency extension.

Fluxor™, Fazor™ and Uniforce™ Technologies

The Fluxor™ magnetic system concentrates the magnetic field across the diaphragm to provide greater efficiency and control, while Fazor™ elements help manage sound-wave propagation and improve spatial accuracy.

Uniforce™ technology provides a more uniform distribution of force across the diaphragm, helping to reduce distortion and preserve fine detail even during complex passages.

SLAM™ Technology

SLAM™ – Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator technology manages the acoustic pressure between the driver and the ear, contributing to more controlled low-frequency reproduction and a more precise spatial presentation.

Transparency Mode

When awareness of the surrounding environment is required, Transparency Mode allows external sounds to be heard without removing the headset.

Designed for PlayStation

The PlayStation version uses a dedicated USB-C dongle to provide ultra-low-latency wireless transmission and integration with PlayStation 5.

On PS5, the Maxwell 2 ANC is compatible with Tempest 3D Audio, allowing users to take advantage of the console's spatial audio system for more precise positioning of sounds and events within the gaming environment.

Wireless Audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz

The ultra-low-latency wireless connection supports high-resolution audio transmission up to 24-bit/96 kHz, combining high sound quality with the accurate synchronisation required for gaming.

In addition to the dedicated wireless connection, the Maxwell 2 ANC can receive audio via USB-C, Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm analogue connection.

Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC

Bluetooth 5.3 allows the Maxwell 2 ANC to be used with smartphones, tablets, computers and other compatible devices.

Support for technologies including LDAC, LC3, LC3plus, LE Audio, Auracast, AAC and SBC provides excellent versatility for gaming, music and everyday use.

Bluetooth Multipoint support also makes it easier to use the headset with more than one compatible device.

Detachable Microphone with AI Noise Reduction

The Maxwell 2 ANC includes a detachable hypercardioid boom microphone designed to provide clear communication during gaming, streaming and calls.

FILTER™ AI Noise Removal processing helps reduce unwanted background sounds, keeping speech clear and intelligible.

When the boom microphone is removed, the integrated microphones allow the headset to continue being used for communication with a more discreet appearance.

Beamforming

The integrated microphones use beamforming technology to prioritise the user's voice while reducing the influence of sounds coming from other directions.

Combined with AI-powered noise reduction, this makes the Maxwell 2 ANC suitable for competitive gaming as well as calls and online communication.

Dedicated Internal Amplification

The large Planar Magnetic drivers are powered by a Dual 1.4 W Balanced internal amplification architecture, providing the control and dynamic capability required to exploit the performance of the 90 mm transducers.

Up to 40 Hours of Battery Life

The internal 1800 mAh battery provides up to 40 hours of use with ANC switched off and up to 35 hours with ANC active.

USB-C fast charging can restore approximately 25% of battery capacity in around 20 minutes, while a complete charge takes approximately two hours.
