The Darwin architecture is developed internally by HiBy and establishes the entire new high-resolution digital signal processing architecture. In a revolutionary evolution of the traditional R2R architecture, the system includes resistance ladder linearity compensation and, for the first time, includes advanced features such as linear FIR filtering, non-linear harmonic control, switchable upsampling/NOS and DSD bypass on portable equipment. The flexible end-to-end architecture is completely configurable, creating endless possibilities for future upgrades and endless evolution.
The Darwin architecture provides up to 16x upsampling (and also NOS), with several selectable filter types to preserve linear phase and reproduce the original sound; Also customizable to fit different earphone features, ensuring adaptability to different earphones of different designs and driver configurations.
Full of musicality, vibrant and natural, R2R-based amplification brings music and artists to life on stage in an immersive experience.
NOS mode bypasses oversampling and antialiasing, instantly responding to transients and steps, converting to analog in the rawest and most direct way possible; Oversampling mode eliminates aliasing artifacts, enables all Darwin architecture features, makes custom sound signature adjustments, adapting to different headphones;
With separate LPFs for PCM and DSD, native DSD decoding on an R2R system is no longer an oxymoron. DSD-specific LPF effectively reduces high-frequency noise caused by the delta-sigma modulation process, optimizing DSD audio playback.
The two crystal oscillators for the sample rates of 44.1xkHz and 48xkHz have a clock frequency of 45.158MHz and 49.152MHz respectively with a subatomic precision of up to -140dBc / Hz @ 1kHz, DSD256 allows decoding of 768kHz and DSD256 up to 0.003% / -115dB THD.
We have already collaborated with 10 professional hi-fi brands in and out of China, getting each brand's sound tuning professional to tune the various hardware parameters of the Darwin architecture with the characteristics of their headphones to produce bespoke tunings for each brand, all available with a touch of the screen, with more to come...
The SoC's massive processing power enables an unprecedented 16x display of MQA data, reproducing the original master recording from increasingly smaller source files.
MQA is an award-winning technology that captures and reproduces the sound of the original studio master in a file that is small enough to stream and download. HiBy collaborates with MQA to bring true original sound quality to listeners.
Using the highly mature, high-performance Snapdragon 660, along with high-speed LPDDR4 RAM and eMMC storage, enabling high-demand multithreaded calculations (audio or otherwise) in record time.
14nm LPP process, 8-core Kryo 260 architecture, 2.2 GHz, Adreno 512 GPU 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM + 64 GB storage + micro SD slot
To top it all off, a discrete current mode amplification scheme is implemented through 1x OPA1642 and 2x OPA1612, supplying abundant current for the output stage to perform a stellar dynamic and transient response. This is then coupled to 4 flagship-class OPA1622 operational amplifiers for 8 independent channels of headphone amplifiers grouped 2x2 in parallel; Each channel is a combination of voltage and current amplification stages. All of this is controlled by a professional NJW1195A digital volume controller for optimal control and ideal circuit dynamics at all times.
HiBy OS is HiBy's in-house developed system architecture for high fidelity audio, optimized from the ground up for audio processing. Now ported to Android 9 OS, it opens the system for free installation of any Android app and also supports advanced audio features such as USB audio input and output, wireless audio input and output, and system-wide audio effects.
The Direct Transport Architecture has always been known for overriding Android's originally mandatory sample rate conversion for the built-in headphone output. Now, DTA can also bypass sample rate conversion for third-party applications even when using USB audio, achieving seamless output from almost any application, anywhere.
The convenient HiByLink feature allows you to control your RS6 from the HiByMusic app on your smartphone, remotely controlling playback, volume control, playlist management, etc.
Supports Bluetooth audio reception (to wired headphones or USB output) and Bluetooth audio transmission (to Bluetooth headphones) at the Bluetooth 5 standard level, and supports a large number of Bluetooth codecs, including UAT, LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, AAC, SBC, etc. .Highly stable 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi for reliable and always-present online music access. Support DLNA / AirPlay / WiFi audio transfer.
With its high-capacity 4500 mAh battery, the RS6 offers you up to 8.5 hours of continuous playback time and 25 days of standby time. Compatible with Quick Charge QC3.0 for a charging power of up to 18W.
Mature and familiar external design. All copper shell, champagne gold color available.
