The Cayin N3Ultra uses a fully customized operating system that is optimized to focus solely on audio playback. 

Creating a device that provides an authentic and minimalist experience, this Hi-Res player allows users to enjoy the new listening pleasure provided by the old JAN 6418 vacuum tubes, in a completely audiophile structure. It has 3.5mm Single-Ended and 4.4mm line outputs.

Its design mixes the touches of classic aesthetics with the most modern details to create a special set.

Equipped with two military-grade Raytheon JAN6418 direct-heated miniature NOS pentode vacuum tubes, the N3Ultra offers single-ended 3.5mm and balanced 4.4mm headphone and line-level analog outputs, each capable of producing solid-state and vacuum tube timbres.

Additionally, custom molded shock absorbing silicone casing to hold and protect the JAN6418 vacuum tube. Designed with pairs of suspension pins on N3Ultra's CNC aluminum frame, the JAN6418 hangs vertically with suspension effect.

Instead of using the miniature pentode tube as an audio buffer, N3Ultra adopts Cayin's Gen3 3 vacuum tube technology and employs a two-stage ringing circuit for JAN6418.

By varying the method of connecting the pentode tube screen grid, the JAN6118 incorporates local NFB across the screen grid, resulting in two distinct styles of circuit response, distortion and output impedance.

In addition to a dedicated single-ended 3.5mm line output, the 4.4mm balanced output can be configured as a headphone output or line output.

A10-band parametric equalizer is designed specifically for the N3Ultra and offers unlimited sound tuning possibilities.

Allows detailed customization of IEM pairing based on listening preferences, creating a personalized audio experience tailored to the user.

The dual DAC chipset operates in mono mode for fully differential output. Independent DAC chips and analog audio circuitry for each channel minimize crosstalk, improving audio clarity and stereo separation.

In terms of battery specifications, the N3Ultra offers us:

• Powerful 3.85V 4500mAh lithium battery with carefully tuned power management system.

• Continuous playback up to 11.8 hours with 3.5mm single-ended IEM with solid-state tone and 7.6 hours with 4.4mm balanced IEM with tube tone.

• Recharge quickly with QC 3.0, you can charge your DAP from 20% to 80% in about 1 hour.

The Cayin N3Ultra houses everything you need. Through TFT card you can further expand storage via USB OTG for flash drives and card readers.

Its 4.1" 720 x 1280 touch screen provides fast response times and high frame rates for clear, wide-angle viewing with intuitive operation.

In addition, it has physical knobs and buttons present on the top of the device, all ready on a 204g package perfect for one-handed use and carrying in your pocket.

It runs on an Android-based system with a Qualcomm 425 CPU and offers a custom UI for smooth and responsive control.
