The Cayin iDAP-8 is an Android-based digital music streamer with a desktop design. 

This device is capable of playing music files from all locations: WiFi, Bluetooth, hard drives, USB or SD cards, with more advanced functions than a typical transmitter.

Once connected to the NAS, you can conveniently read all the music files on the iDAP-8 and play your favorite songs on the NAS without needing to download them to the digital streamer.

In turn, the SATA 3.0 data interface supports up to 4 TB of 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD. This facilitates local music library that can be reliably played across different music player apps.

The iDAP-8 supports playback of music files stored internally, on SD cards, USB drives, hard drives and card readers.

Ultra-low phase noise at 200 fS minimizes jitter, digital artifacts and signal loss, which will improve conversion accuracy and provide a better audio experience.

Cayin insists on designing and building transformers because they play a vital role in audio equipment. The 45W toroidal transformer in iDAP-8 is wound with high-purity enameled copper wire and coupled with specialized shielding packaging. We have also introduced numerous circuit protection measures into our design. These techniques will reduce magnetic interference and dramatically protect the circuit from noise interference.

This network audio player handles faster data read/write speeds, high-performance memory pool and low latency for smooth and effective multitasking.

Equipped with a5" FHD TFT multi-touch screen, which displays high-resolution text, graphics and album art crisply and clearly. Intuitive and comprehensive, all information is well organized and properly presented.

The iDAP-8 is a new member of the Cayin i-series products and shares a unified design language with the iDAC-8 digital-to-analog converter and iHA-8 headphone amplifier. Each product can be used individually or combined to form a set.

It has a small and compact body, making it easy to place and combine with other home audio or desktop devices. With L-shaped aluminum cover plate, precision mold extrusion, CNC precision machining, fine sandblasting and anodized surface treatment, the digital streamer has a uniform and delicate texture, making it durable over time.

Theleft and right side panels are designed as ridged heat sinks. The additional surface area improves heat exchanges and improves heat dissipation capacity.
