Applying theDarwin architecture, winner of endless praise in the field of high-end DAPs, for the first time in a portable DAC/headphone amplifier, the FC6employs the R2R design for the DAC, ensuring an emotional, warm and natural sound, while retaining FIR filtering and NOS/OS switching, etc. for maximum musical flexibility. 

Using 96 high-precision resistors in an R2R network, along with other technologies, allow for high-precision sound reproduction with the necessary fluidity. 

The HiBy FC6 has two operating modes to guarantee maximum sound fidelity. They are the following:

• NOS Mode: NOS mode has no oversampling, responds more immediately and directly to signals, converts digital signals to analog output directly and provides a more analog sound signature, being more suitable for music files/streams with a sample rate of 192 kHz or higher.

• OS Mode: Oversampling mode easily eliminates alization artifacts through the tried-and-true combination of oversampling and ultrasonic low-pass filter, HDR, NOS/OS mode switch, resulting in superior measured performance, enables all Darwin architecture features, makes custom sound signature adjustments, adapting to different headphones.

The HiBy FC6 achieves up to 16x oversamplingwith numerous custom filters available to suit different musical styles.

Using advanced algorithms applicable exclusively to the Darwin architecture to improve dynamic range, further enriching detail recovery, reaching new levels of musicality.

Equipped with dual crystal oscillators at 45.158 MHz and 49.152 MHz, for accurate clocking of 44.1x and 48x kHz music sources alike and extremely low jitter.

The FC6's headphone stage, on par with high-end DAPs, offers 2 flagship-class OPA1622 headphone amplifier chips and 4-way independent current mode amplification.

It combines seamlessly with HiBy Music's unique USB mode to stream bitperfect digital audio and to take full advantage of the FC6's amplification and decoding capabilities.

In turn, the HiBy FC6 supports 8x MQA deployment to provide music playback on par with master tapes and live venues.

The HiBy FC6 natively supports up to DSD512 as well as PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz, on par with HiFi home audio components and all streaming music sources.

As it could not be otherwise, this portable amp/DAC is certified with Hi-Res Audio.

The FC6 features a 32-step hardware volume control with convenient, high-quality physical buttons.
