MIC PREAMP The ISA 828 MkII shares the simple mic preamp design of the original Focusrite ISA 110 module from the Focusrite Studio Console and integrates eight of Focusrite's classic mic preamps with Lundahl LL1538 transformers on each input. Each channel has the option of mic or line inputs, while inputs 1 to 4 also feature front panel instrument inputs. Each microphone has variable input impedance to provide a range of subtly different sonic options including an 'ISA 110' setting, which replicates the impedance of the original Focusrite microphone preamp. Up to 60dB of gain is available, with an additional continuously variable +20dB cut, offering a massive 80dB gain range. The high-pass filter has a variable cutoff frequency that ranges from 16 to 420Hz. The ISA 828 MkII features channel-by-channel calibratable high-pass filters, six-segment LED meters and selectable insert points on the rear panel, which allow the use of in-line processors such as compressors or equalizers.
Dedicated connectors for microphone and line level inputs allow all sources to be connected simultaneously, making the ISA 828 MkII perfect for permanent installation in a rack. An innovation of the ISA 828 MkII is an updated power supply that allows for more efficient power consumption, reduced heat generation and extremely reliable operation. The optional ISA ADN8 analog-to-digital expansion card provides eight Dante, ADAT and AES3 outputs at rates up to 24-bit at 192kHz. Key Features: Optional A-D card with up to 24-bit sampling at 192kHz, delivering accurate, high-quality digital audio conversion to Dante, ADAT and AES3
