MICROPHONE PREAmplifier Clarett+ OctoPre is an eight-channel ADAT preamplifier ideal for both the novice and expert technician. Each of the eight preamps deliver the high headroom and low distortion and noise rates characteristic of the Clarett+ series. These preamps capture percussion, vocals and acoustic instruments with supreme clarity. The two JFET instrument inputs capture the character of the guitars just as if you were using an amplifier. High-quality A/D and D/A converters bring sound clarity to studio recording sessions, with a high headroom and ultra-low noise and distortion. Exceptional D/A conversion maintains quality when sending sounds to analog effects, EQs, and compressors.
Combine the Clarett+ OctoPre with a 2Pre, 4Pre or 8Pre (any other equipment with ADAT input connectivity to easily and consistently expand I/O via ADAT and record an entire group while maintaining analog purity and clarity and bringing the classic sound of the Focusrite Studio Console to your recordings.
