The CP13's motor is powered by a 4.2V high-voltage power supply, more than the 1.8V or 3V typically found in today's cassette players.

This power supply works in tandem with a motor speed stabilization circuit, which increases motor resistance as needed to ensure stable motion speeds, mitigating unwanted pitch changes and also allowing the CP13 to handle more tapes.

The FiiO team has carefully chosen the materials of the CP13 to achieve a stable movement design. Additionally, they eliminate auto recording and reversing functions to deliver maximum playback sound quality. 

With strict manufacturing control of the FiiO CP13 head to ensure minimal differences in output between the left and right channels, FiiO's portable cassette benefits from premium components.

This magnetic head also uses a thickened head cover, which better protects the head from external interference and greatly reduces the wear and tear of the magnetic head during playback to increase its durability.

In addition, the FiiO CP13 employs a differential circuit to acquire signals from the head and increase signal stability, with lower distortion and a higher signal-to-noise ratio.

For fully analog playback, the CP13's audio circuitry utilizes all custom components to result in a classic sound, driven, in part, by its JRC5532 operational amplifier.

The FiiO CP13 features a carefully crafted two-color all-aluminum chassis. The visible screws act as a perfect complement to its square design, in which harmony and ergonomics coexist.

The CP13 buttons are resistant to wear and corrosion. Additionally, behind the volume knob is an analog volume potentiometer for convenient and stable use.

The FiiO CP13 employs a1800 mAh lithium cobalt oxide battery, chosen for its ability to provide robust power for longer periods of time than regular batteries.

The CP13 battery can reach 13 hours of duration and 286 days of time.
