Equipped with stunning engineering and topped by the extraordinary construction quality that characterizes Astell&Ken's creations, the A&futura SE300 Titan Limited Edition is an exclusive version of the A&futura SE300 with the main body made of Grade 5 Titanium. Thanks to the exceptional properties of this material, an alloy of titanium, aluminum and vanadium that combines outstanding strength, extreme lightness, enormous resistance to corrosion and low thermal conductivity, the new Astell&Kern allows, in combination with a manufacturing process in which 5 and 6-axis CNC robots have been used, to take the recognized performance of the original model even further. Thus, we must first highlight the groundbreaking D/A conversion scheme that it incorporates, of the R-2R type (ladder resistors), which provides its sound with a genuinely “analog” warmth with respect to the restitution typical of the Delta-Sigma “chips” used by the vast majority of digital sources. The TERATON ALPHA technology of the Asian company contributes powerfully to this, without which the aforementioned addition would not have been possible, since its contributions include the virtual suppression of the noise present in the power signal, very efficient management of the latter and immaculate amplification. Another fundamental element of the Astell&Kern is the innovative Dual AMP mode, which allows the user to select between Class A and Class AB amplification, which results in, respectively, sound naturalness and dynamics.
